Midjourney goes from generating cat images to full-body ultrasound scans
Midjourney, an AI startup previously known for its image generator, has announced a pivot to medical imaging with its first hardware product. The company introduced "The Midjourney Scanner," an ultrasound-based full-body scanner designed to immerse users in water. This device, which uses a ring of sensors to capture vertical slices, aims to produce results comparable to MRI while offering a spa-like experience. CEO David Holz showcased the product and revealed plans for a San Francisco spa, stating the goal is to help people live longer.
